Most Anticipated of 2008?

So, what film are you most looking forward to in 2008?

Iron Man?
The Dark Knight?
Chronicles of Narnia 2?
Indiana Jones 4?
Other Small Indie Film that isn't even on the popular radar yet?

I'm probably have to say The Dark Knight for right now, just based on how much I loved Batman Begins and how stoked I was after viewing the teaser trailer. (See discussion below)

So, tell us, what 2008 release gets your film juices pumping?

Thanks Steve for not even reading the whole list and leaving off Gondry's quirky Be Kind, Rewind.  While the obvious choice is The Dark Night, simply because it is poised to be the best superhero film to date, one which transcends the camp that Batman has always fallen into, I am still really curious about what Mos Def, Jack Black and Gondry will pull off.  I guess I wanna see Indy in a wheelchair fight scene too, but I am not holding my breath for it.

Truthfully, Mr. Collier, I didn't think Be Kind Rewind had the overall buzz and knowledge by your average layman when compared with the other films. I am also extremely curious about the latest from Gondry, but Batman could take literally take Gondry behind the woodshed for a beating. In addition to seeing Bale as Batman again, Heath Ledger as the Joker is something I'm just dying to see.

Well, to be honest I am just happy you did not notice my HUGE mistake of writing Night instead of Knight. What kinda Bat-fan am I? All I was saying was that you failed to write all of the films down on the poll question. Who knows - someone out there might have wanted to talk about it. But it seems not. I am kinda glad we got these message boards up, only so that we have another place to bad mouth each other. You smell. And yes. I would love to see a movie in which Christian Bale Batman took on Gondry and where it ended in a Fargo woodchipper scene.

well, I'm just nice enough not to point it out.  Oh, trust me, I noticed! ;)  So, fans of the cardinalreview, there have got to be some of you out there, are our message boards a place for Chris & I to just badmouth each other?  Or would you rather we abandon this message board and make Chris' movie with Christian Bale, Michel Gondry, and a woodchipper?

P.S. Maybe I should remember to log in before I post so people know who I am. I'm a freakin genius!

Don't take away the message boards. Where else can I go to badmouth both Chris and Steve, and maybe Kevin too?
